IQOS RELX Banned in Hong Kong?! 😨

From 30 April 2022, no person may import, promote, manufacture, sell, or possess for commercial purposes alternative smoking products, including electronic smoking products, heated tobacco products, and herbal cigarettes. The maximum penalty is imprisonment for 6 months and a fine of $50,000.

What Vaping products are affected by the Ban?

To make it clear, all IQOS LIL GLO RELX devices or compatibles, Nicotine-Free e-Liquid and Herbal Cigarettes which were freely to sell before, are now all prohibited.

Can I bring IQOS, RELX or Vape to Hong Kong?

Alternative Smoking Products, even only the devices, are not allowed to bring to Hong Kong.

Regarding Heated Tobacco Sticks, e.g. IQOS Sticks, which were treated as traditional cigarettes before the Ban, are now all prohibited to bring into Hong Kong.

Simply put, travellers are not allowed to bring any of them into Hong Kong even for personal use.
